Working with knives on the sharpening device 30082 allows you to achieve good results even for inexperienced sharpeners who are engaged in organizing their knives for daily use. The sharpener comes with a number of bars on a plastic base. This variety of bars is dictated by the type of grit, only four - 120, 320, 600 and 1500 units. All of them, as well as a blue marker, are stored in a cordura organizer case. In addition, the set includes a soft napkin. Instructions with detailed diagrams help you understand the device and assembly of the device. Using a hinged connection, the frame is attached to the structure placed on a stand with a suction cup. The suction cup fixes the sharpener on the countertop or any flat surface. It should not be textured, but smooth, otherwise the suction cup will not hold. The best option is ceramic tiles.

To set the sharpening angle, move the vertical rack to a particular color mark. Specific designation of color marking:

• black – 30 degrees;
• red – 25 degrees;

• It is a simple and convenient device, but it is better to practice and consolidate skills using a knife that is not harmful.
• It is better to initially train with a knife with a wider blade - it is easier to learn how to properly secure and control the sharpening.
• Some sharpening bars simply do not work, so it is better to rearrange them from time to time, then the working surface will wear out more evenly.
• The dust generated during sharpening clogs the bars, after which they begin to slide helplessly along the blade. Clean and wash them with warm water, using detergent and the hard side of a sponge.
• Excessive force is not necessary. It is better to make several movements than one rough one with strong pressure.
• No instructions or reviews will teach you all the intricacies; good results can be achieved with practice.
