Diamond withstands high loads, does not break down under mechanical stress, and retains its roughness over many years of intensive use. The material is also easy to care for: after use, simply rinse the plate in clean water and wipe dry with a paper towel.
The 320-grit abrasive maintains a "golden mean" between efficiency and gentle sharpening. The diamond plate does not lead to rapid thinning of the blade and does not reduce its service life, therefore it is suitable for regular use.
