Description of the WSGSS mechanical sharpener:

The basis of the model is a platform made of durable plastic, on which abrasive plates are fixed. The platform can be fixed in several ways. Rigid fixation is carried out using a plastic carriage and turns the sharpener into a classic stand for ordinary sharpening. The second method of fixation, which is “wobbled”, is based on the innovative Pivot-Response® system - the base of the sharpener is tilted at a certain angle, which allows you to remove the same amount of steel along the entire length of the cutting edge.

The Guided Sharpening System sharpener is a versatile accessory that can be used by both beginners and professionals. The kit includes a pair of diamond plates of different grits: 320 grit for basic sharpening, 600 grit for removing small irregularities on the metal surface. An additional ceramic rod is responsible for the final sharpening of the cutting edge, which, together with two angle guides of 17° and 20°, allows you to care for any type of tool, including kitchen knives and scissors, pocket knives, saws and axes.

The model is suitable as a basic sharpener in the home kitchen, but thanks to the compact dimensions of the platform, it can also be taken with you on a country vacation. To ensure that the sharpener remains effective throughout the warranty period, it is enough to clean the rough surface of the abrasives from metal shavings.
