Description of the Ruixin Touch Pro RX-009 sharpening machine:
The new generation Ruixin Touch Pro RX-009 sharpening machine provides professional care for cutting tools, observing all stages of processing.
The structure weighs 1.7 kg. It is made of stainless steel, which does not rust when exposed to moisture and does not oxidize when exposed to acid or grease. The base of the model is fixed on a flat surface using a vice.
The advantage of this machine is an improved system for fixing the knife to the structure. Unlike the previous model RX-008 with a solid clamp, in the updated machine the clamp consists of 2 pliers. The distance between the pliers can be adjusted at your discretion, based on the length of the blade being sharpened.
This development expands the range of tools compatible with the sharpener and allows you to sharpen even miniature blades, which are equipped with multi-tools and multifunctional knives. If necessary, the user can use only one of the tongs to fix the tool on the sharpener, and move the others to the side.
In addition to the machine, the kit includes all the necessary accessories for comfortable operation right out of the box. Among them is a wrench for tightening bolts and a detailed user manual.
The manufacturer also added 4 abrasive stones with different grain sizes to the set for step-by-step processing of cutting edges:
120 and 320 grit for rough sharpening;
600 grit for regular sharpening;
1500 grit for the finishing stage.
To prevent abrasives from clogging with metal shavings, it is recommended to soak them in water before use. The stones are fixed on the sharpener thanks to a spring built into the design.
All components of the kit are in a branded case, which increases the convenience of transporting and storing the set at home, in a professional workshop or garage. The case also acts as an improvised organizer, with separate compartments for each accessory, eliminating the possibility of their loss.
