Dipol D209 night vision goggles are the latest development of the "Dipol" NPF, which absorbed all the user's wishes and comments and eliminated the previous shortcomings. The use of advanced technologies made it possible to make the D209 glasses light and multifunctional. The device is equipped with high-quality optics with high illumination, which allows you to make the most of the capabilities of the electronic-optical converter (EOC) installed in these glasses. The waterproof body of the glasses is made of super-structural plastic and is able to withstand high impact loads. The D209 has a specially installed drying cartridge that removes possible moisture from the glasses in the event of its unexpected depressurization. The Dipol D209 is equipped with two IR illuminators. The first (wavelength - 905 nm) allows you to work in complete darkness, the second (805 nm) - for distant illumination. The nozzle for the illuminator of the distant illumination allows you to adjust the size of the light spot of the illuminator and increase the range of its action. Also, as in the D203M, this model has a button for short-term activation of the IR illuminator, which allows for a short time to illuminate the area in conditions of complete darkness, while significantly reducing the probability of detection. The built-in protection against bright lights turns off the D209 night vision goggles when entering the area of a strong light flux. Possible injection with dried air or nitrogen to prevent lens fogging from inside the glasses. Special eye shields fit tightly to the eyes and do not unmask the user while working with them. The helmet-mask allows you to comfortably and reliably fix the glasses on the head. When the device is raised to a vertical position, it automatically turns off so as not to unmask the user.
