Bullet Hornady SP col. 8 mm weight 195 g (12.6 g) 100 pcs
Overview

Hornady InterLock bullets have a secant groove – one of the most ballistically effective profiles developed by Hornady. They also have an exclusive InterLock design – a ring-shaped projection of the shell that fits into the core of the ball and holds the shell and core together during the unfolding process to conserve mass and energy. First used in hunting bullets by Hornady, this profile set a new standard in bullet design and today it is used everywhere, from match bullets to varmint bullets. The secant groove creates the most ballistically effective profile with an optimal leading surface. The combination of a slender profile and an increased leading surface provides reduced air resistance, greater stability, a flat trajectory and extraordinary accuracy. Features: 1. Internal grooves. The specially weakened upper part of the shell forms a uniform controlled opening even at long distances. 2. Shell in the form of a cone. Evenness and thickness of the shell is strictly controlled during production. 3. Solid core. It does not split, unlike separate cores. InterLock's ring protrusion allows you to preserve the mass and energy of the pool for deeper penetration and a more substantial wound channel. 4. Grooving. Provides precise and reliable compression and interaction with the InterLock ring lug for controlled opening. 5. Ring protrusion InterLock. Engages with the core of the pool, securely fixing the core and shell to conserve mass and energy.
