SAS pistols shoot balls of caliber 4.5 mm and are intended exclusively for sports, training and entertainment purposes. At the same time, the body is specially weighted to give the user the feeling of holding a combat pistol in his hands. For the same purpose, the entire model range has the appearance of real combat pistols. Blowback series pistols, just like ordinary gas-balloon pneumatic pistols, work on the principle of extracting a portion of CO2 gas at the moment of the shot, which pushes the pellet down the barrel of the pistol. But at the same time, the design provides an imitation of the movement of the shutter (!) when firing. In combination with the metal case, the tangible weight and the appearance of a real combat weapon, when held, the feeling of shooting is created not from pneumatics, but from a firearm. Glock 17 is an Austrian pistol developed by the Glock company for the needs of the Austrian army. This is the first sample of weapons created by this company. It turned out to be so successful and convenient to use that later, under the designation P80, it was adopted by the Austrian army. And thanks to its combat qualities and reliability, it became widely used as a civilian weapon of self-defense. Then the Glock company was ordered for 25,000 pistols. But the production facilities were not ready for such a large order, so the company had to attract subcontractors from the moment of full deployment of its own production facilities. The gun is almost entirely made of high-strength heat-resistant (up to 200 ° C) plastic. Thanks to this, it is light and extremely durable. The principle of operation is "grab and shoot". Glock 17 consists of 33 parts, and partial disassembly is carried out in seconds. The Glock company was founded in 1963 in the town of Deutsch-Wagram, located near Vienna. At that time, the company produced and supplied sapper shovels, bayonets, belts and various ammunition for the Austrian army. However, back in the mid-1970s, Gaston Glock, the founder and owner of the company, set his designers the task of creating the most simple, effective, and reliable pistol using the available experience in the use of polymers. Therefore, the main innovation of the Glock 17 was the wide use of polymer materials - mainly impact-resistant polyamide. After the new pistol was introduced into the army, the model gained more popularity almost immediately, which prompted the Glock company to further expand and improve the model range. But even now, the design of the company's new pistol models retains those successful technical solutions that were successfully used for the first time in the development of the Glock 17 pistol. SAS G17 is a pneumatic copy of the legendary Austrian pistol Glock 17. The pistol frame is made of durable plastic, the shutter casing is metal. The barrel is equipped with a Hop-Up ball twisting system, which significantly increases the range and stability of the bullet flight. SAS G17 is equipped with a full-size 15-charge magazine, which distinguishes this model from other pneumatic analogues.
