The direction of flights in autumn and places of rest and stops are directly related to the location of fields with grain crops away from people. The search for such places is conducted by traces, the presence of feathers and droppings. An ambush in feeding areas should be accompanied by a good disguise and various shelters (mini-hut, hide), since any flaw can sink the entire operation. To lure birds to the right place, decoys, decoy scarecrows or profiles made of different materials are used. Their location should provide a good overview and a radius of fire by the hunter. Hunting can last throughout the day, especially if several flocks of geese arrive alternately in the fields for feeding. If the goose is not scared in the evening, then the morning mass feeding will be guaranteed to you.
